Pokemon Sword and Shield are getting two new expansions

Pokemon finally adds a DLC to a mainline game

During the recent Pokemon Direct, Pokemon revealed that their latest games Sword and Shield would be getting two new expansion packs. The first, Isle of armer(release set for June) and The Crown Tundra(set to come later in the fall). The update for the game adds much to enjoy, implementing new story lines,Pokemon, legendaries with galarian forms. This is MAJOR because no pokemon game has ever had a DLC!

Pokemon Sword and shield have been major games and have exploded in popularity since release. There has been played by young and old and even had a fan made Christmas event where players donated pokemon to kids who got pokemon sword and shield on Christmas. The games have been the first mainline pokemon games to be on switch.

Pokemon fans all over have been raving about this new update. In the direct we were shown concepts of new pokemon and old. Galarian forms of Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno were shown as well as a Galarian slowpoke. The regi trio also apeared with two new regis in the mix.

To make this crazy pot of new content even crazier we saw a glimpse of a few new legendaries plus the ability to catch old ones. GIGANTAMAX forms of out favorite sword and shield guardians Zacian and Zamazenta, as well as new rivals a mentor and more.
